Small ladder for trailer

I have found a good small and light weight ladder and would like to mount it to the ladder I have on the back of the trailer. The ladder weights 17 pounds so it that too much to have mounted to the ladder on the trailer? I guess that is a stupid question as I climb on that ladder and I weight more than 17 pounds.
Will be using the ladder to help clean the top of the slide out as the wife doesn't want me climbing on the roof. Is there a product that I can get to hold it to the trailer ladder?

The Little Giant link is not working for me but the factory ladder is certainly strong enough to hold it. I would think some industrial velcro would be able to keep it secure.

I bought a 6' folding ladder from the "Ama***" place. Folds to 4" X 4" by 6ft. I bought it to do the same thing.
In the end I put a slide topper on. It keeps things off the top of the slide and actually keeps it cooler, here in the desert. An extra + is that it diverts rain water around the slide opening.
I still travel with the ladder as it fits nicely in the front storage pass through. Never know when you'll need one.

There are brackets that hang on factory ladders to hold all sorts of items--bikes, chairs, etc. You might check CW or other sites for them. They would give you peace of mind having metal hangers instead of hook & loop type holders.
I bet Home Depot would have just the ticket for you also.
See ya out there--------------
