Stove vent storm flap missing

The stove vent in my 2018 Black Rock 24KTS has no storm flap. I discovered this on a trip to southern Utah when a few days of high winds blew sand all over the stovetop and kitchen area. My older Black Rock trailer had a nylon flap behind the fan and Iím wondering if my new trailer had one and it fell out (I donít know how it could physically fall out) or if it doesnít come with a flap. Could a 24KTS owner check their stove fan and see if there is a storm flap?

There is one on our 2016, also little tabs that swivel to lock it shut while traveling.

I have one on mine, I hear it flapping when I open and close the door with all the windows and vents closed, shows you how good theses trailers are sealed up.

I had a TT that I forgot to secure the vent door closed with the little tabs and it went missing. I had to replace the whole vent :(

Our 2016 Glacier Peak has one on the Heng vent system, they have replacement parts on their website. www.hengsindustries.com. Also available at Amazon and Etrailer.

Hopefully you all have the same system. ORV may have forgot to install it.
super expensive at $8.00

I heard back from Todd at ORV right away (great service as always!) and he said mine should have an outside flap that locks in place. Mine has either gone missing or they installed the wrong vent cap. I sent Todd this photo.
