Is there a trick to removing these? Mine looks just like yours but it doesn't want to come off. I've been trying to spin the nub on the bottom and I've tried turning it along with the dome but haven't had any luck. Thanks.

It takes a lot of pressure to unscrew the nub. I too wondered if I was missing something, but tightened my wrench and it eventually came loose with minimal damage to the nub. Good luck... it IS screwed on, just REAL tight.

Man, I tried yesterday with no luck. I tried using channel locks and a bicycle inner tube and still scratched the nub. Thing wouldn't budge. I can see where you wouldn't want it to come off driving down the road but man it's on there.
