Tankless Water Heater

I was looking on the ORV site and it mentions that a tankless water heater is standard on the Blackstone but also mentions a 10 gallon water heater. Do they actually offer a tankless water heater or only the 10 gallon one?

I'd think if the tankless model is labeled 'standard', the 10 gallon WH would be an option. Some folks don't like the tankless type because of issues with varying water pressure and breakdowns.

Search the ORV Owners forum to learn more about the thankless water heaters (tx Coops). I had ours removed as soon as I could get to La Grande.

We had the Gerrard brand of the "Thankless" water system. I'm so happy to have gotten rid of it. We had both versions. Never did work correctly. Very difficult to maintain constant water flow and temperature and only works on propane.

We are so pleased with the tank type. Was told by an ORV rep in 2014.... ORV was installing them in their units...so I'm a bit surprised they offer them. Maybe a different manufacturer.

We had ours removed and replaced with a tank type as fast as we could get to the factory in La Grande.( wish we had room for a 10 gallon only room for a 6 )

Would strongly not recommend.😝👎👎

I guess they are not all created equal. I installed a Precision Temp (RV 500 model)tankless in our last coach and loved it for the 7 years we had it. It always performs above our expectations and never once had a problem.

We have a RV500. We like it - works well. Have also had tankless in the studs and stucco for over ten years.
