Be kind to everyone if you can. You have no idea what they might be dealing with today.

Thank you to all of my brothers and sisters that sacrifice to keep us safe from the insanity of much of the rest of the world.

Another sad day to remember in our history. We should never forget this date and what happened. If Americans are allowed to forget this day, America is lost forever.

I drilled my kids on the meaning of 12/07/1941 Pearl Harbor and 06/04/1944 D Day. Now they are teaching my grandkids the meaning of 09/11/2001.

We dare not discuss the 9-11 issues and who and why here. But we know who and why and will not forget it, ever.

Enough said, thanks Highway.

The oldest son has driven a gold star family to the memorial service every year since, but he is laid up with an on the job injury this year.

Watched the smoke rising from ground zero, from mid Long Island, while waiting for phone call from our son, a NYPD officer.

He was off duty and called home on the way IN to Manahattan. Trying times.

We've traveled quite a bit, but the new World Trade Center building and exhibit is the most moving of all the places we've been to. If anyone on this forum can afford the time and cost to visit New York, this should be the first stop. The entire World Trade area is clean, safe, somber, and remarkable.
PEACE
