Desert Trails RV says they are 40+ RV park and we'll have a 10 and 8 year old with us. Seems like it would have been the perfect answer.

I got stuck in traffic east of Phoenix yesterday so I stayed at Justin's Diamond last night. Got up this morning and found a nice spot in Gilbert Ray. The woman working here said that it had been sold out every night up until last week when temps got in the 90s. Beautiful here today.

Catalina State Park is reserve able. In fact many of Arizona's SP's can now be reserved. Check their website.

We're set for this trip but thanks. I might check out some of the other spots while I'm out here. I like the Tucson area so far, might have to come back.

Catalina State Park, hands down. Great hiking, absolutely beautiful landscape with the mountains. Take the kids to the rodeo in Tucson. I think its on Sundays, we had a great time.
