Underbelly Fabric Replacement
Having just purchased a used 2011, 30' Wind River, I'm wondering if anyone has had the belly fabric replaced. While there is no reason for me wanting to do this, I would like to have everything inspected ie, plumbing, tanks, wiring, amount of rust, etc. To be truthful, the fabric is starting to sag in places and the screw heads are rusting with some missing. If you have, how expensive was it? Thanks for your input.
I'm not part of the Evergreen Owners Club and don't know how I got on it. May need some guidance.

Several folks here have replaced the underbelly coroplast. It's a corrugated plastic sheet that's available at sign stores and elsewhere. On my trailer it's riveted to the frame and is only found between the two frame rails.
Outside of the frame, the underside of the floor that over-hangs the frame rails is covered with a breathable building wrap type fabric.
No idea how much it would cost to have the coroplast replaced. Maybe you could have it just opened up, inspected and the rivets replaced, ideally with Stainless Steel screws. There are also a couple of access panels underneath in the coroplast that might help. More can be created and then resealed as part of an inspection.

I stripped the whole thing off because it was a big water bucket and replaced it will the same chloroplast except 3/8" (holes drilled along center to drain water) and with 1/2" EPDM (waterproof) foam. The foam gives an insulation factor of R2
I bolted strips of Seaboard (polyethylene plastic) to the frame that I could screw into. The pcs are 4'x6" so I could drop the each section as needed.
The 3/8" x 4x 8 (6 sheets) sheet were $35/sheet and the foam was $80.00

I personally cannot see why you would want to do this. If there is nothing broken, loose, malfunctioning, etc, leaving it be would be prudent.
I have cut sections of this covering to repair things, and used gorilla tape to seal it back up. Works for me.

That sounds good to me. Most of the material looks good with some sagging here and there, but I can live with it for now.
Thanks for all your input. DW says I worry too much, but I like to tinker and inspect things I'm curious about.
