Upgrade or not?

I have a outdoors Rv Creekside bunkhouse we have really liked but recently bought a side by side so would need to pull doubles which is legal in my state with two bumper pulls. However we have been looking at bunkhouse fifth wheels for this but haven't found a small bunkhouse fifth wheel with matching quality of our Creekside. We like the floor plan of the crossroads Volante 27BH but wish we could find a used glacier peak bunkhouse they no longer make but with no luck. So is it really worth paying the extra high end Rv or for a few camping trips a year will the crossroads Volante work or just pull a side by side behind my Creekside? Thanks

Is it worth it? That's up to you. If what you have is not suitable buy what fits your needs or wants.

You might look at the Desert Fox toy haulers by Northwoods.

Towing doubles kinda scares me! Enough to deal with one trailer.
How do you back up? Yikes. Glad California doesn't allow it.

I pull our 27bhs with my 3/4 ton diesel. The wife pulls our quads on the flat deck trailer with her Ford Escape. Works great. Kinda sucks not being able to travel together but for the two or three times a year we do a trip like that it's way cheaper than trying to upgrade to a one vehicle solution.

I don't think that combo will work in Calif. I never see it. Even if was legal I wouldn't do it.

Any thought of putting the side/side in the box of the truck on a flat deck/rack.
I've seen side/ sides on rack/ deck in the truck bed. There is still room in the truck bed under the rack.
Truck Decks/racks are quite popular here in BC to transport snowmobiles and still leave room for gas oil etc in the truck box.
Just a thought

My set up would be legal in Utah which is where we live and would be the only place we would tow this. Nobody have a Glacier Peak 27BHS they want to sale?

It is legal in CA, with a CDL and a doubles endorsement. Also must be 65' or less in total length.

I know it's legal behind a 5th wheel but never herd of it being done behind a bumper pull even with a class 5 hitch.
