USB to 12V swap

I want to remove the double usb charger from one side of the bed and replace it with a 12 volt plug. Even better, a usb charger / 12V plug combo like I have by the door. Is this an easy swap? Anyone know if the power supply to the usb plugs would work for this? Ideally I'd like to pop out the usb, remove the wires, rewire to the new plug, and put it in.

My '19 21rbs has a 15 amp circuit for the usb/12v recepts at the headboard; the cirucuit also covers the passthrough lights and the exterior lights by the sewer and tongue jack. I'll try to attach a panel schedule I made for it.

Super helpful! Thanks. I'm going to see if I can swap the usb/12v combo by the door with the usb by the bed.

Should be plug and play unless you install too many and use them all at once and trip a fuse. But near as I can tell, most car or boat USB and 12v outlets run fine off a 12v source which is what I have behind there.

I would stick with Blue Sea brand components if you buy new stuff. Costs a little more than the generic brands but I bought a knockoff brand 12v socket and it stopped working after two months.

I have did this with 4 port plugs so I don't have to swap usb cables. If you pull the original cable for the usB you will find the 12 Guage Wire, We Wired my friends C pap machine through this same spot
