Welcome to the forum and Congrats on the upcoming 24RKS and retirement! We are leaning very strongly towards picking up this same model later this year ourselves. Enjoy and safe travels once you hit the road...

Congrats, it's nice having a large amount of storage that comes with this model, among loads of other benefits.

I will be retiring at the end of next year. We got our 25RDS in 2017 for our weekend adventures now and extended travels - maybe even full time- in the future. ORVs are nice rigs.

We just returned from a 1 month trip in our 24RKS. The storage is great and it has enough room for us---but having large holding tanks is really wonderful!
We spent one night in the mid 20 degree range and the heater didn't run often at all. Enjoy!

I wanted to update our original post about ordering a 24RKS, we picked up our trailer Monday September 16th in Missoula Montana and started our first trip. After getting familiar with how everything worked and unloading and storing all the stuff we brought with us we headed to Glacier National Park, this would be the start of a wonderful 6 week post retirement trip. I have been hesitant to brag about the performance of the new trailer because I didn't want to jinx ourselves but here goes, we traveled a total of 7300 miles with the trailer 9600 miles total trip in all types of weather and temps and had not a single issue. I have been following the forum for 2 years and reading and trying to learn a much as possible and making sure we outfitted the trailer properly, thanks to everyone for your input you didn't know it but we were listening this is a great resource for first time RV owners like we are. We got back home to Pennsylvania October 31st after visiting 12 National Parks and seeing some of the country and meeting allot of wonderful people we are planning the next trip and can't wait.

Congrats on the purchase, we really like our 24RKS. And the storage is ridiculous. We think its the perfect size for us and I could like in it full time in some nice areas if the boss would let me. Enjoy the new toy!

Congrats. That was great to hear. I live in northern DE and have been considering doing the same. While on a visit to the west coast last year I spent a day visiting several dealers and looked at a ton of ORVs. Glad to hear the pickup and trip worked out well. If we go that route we'll do a similar trip.
