What Method or Pump Do You Use to Inflate Trailer Tires

What do most of you do to ensure tires are maintained to the correct tire pressure when on the road? Anyone use the 12v tire pumps? If so any recommendations?

DeWalt 6 gallon pancake...120VAC. I've got an onboard generator and a couple of 120VAC receptacles outside the Toy Hauler. I also carry a 50' air hose.

It runs on 12v and 110v. I can usually have 110v nearby with an extension cord. I can set it for a pressure and it will stop automatically. Buying it with the Kobalt brand name on it means that if it ever stops working, I can simply take it to Lowes for a replacement, which I've done once already.

I have a Craftsman that allegedly has enough umph to inflate 80 psi tires. I’ve used it at home with no problems. I have an Inverter with enough juice to power it. I carry a tire repair kit also. However my method of choice is eyeballing an air pump, a proper one with good ingress and egress for the next morning’s fill. I note the deficiency for each tire and add that amount the next morning, also topping off the gas. The coin operated pumps out west almost always were a disappointment. The staff never had any idea what the pressure was. Luckily several times the managers were present and really went out of their way.

I carry a small Cambell Hasfel 3 gallon compressor from Harbor freight, takes 110 volts, use the generator if needed or check and top off at a campground while the tires are COLD. Has proved to be very effective, kinda noisy so don't use it to early in the morning
It was 89.00 at Harbor Freight when I bought it. So far so good.

I use a Viair 450c pump that I installed with a 5 gallon tank, a quick release fitting, a coiled hose with an air chuck, and Grover air horns to wake sleepy drivers that merge without looking.

I have a pancake compressor on board. Frankly, though, since I use Michelin LT truck tires on my trailer, they don't loose air on the road.

I carry a small portable compressor that plugs into a cigarette lighter. I have used it to top up the truck tires but I have not had to add air to the trailer tires while on the road. Seems to work for the truck so.....

I've never worried about it. In all my trailers I've never lost substantial PSI during trips or even sitting all winter. My tires only drop a few psi from Nov to April sitting in storage. At the start of the season I air them up to 70 PSI and they stay there all summer. If you're losing PSI during the summer or on road trips then you need to have them checked out.
Normal psi drops are usually only in the winter.

I have a number of 12 & 18 volt Milwaukee power tools so I opted for a Milwaukee Compact Inflator and Compact Charger. It works great, battery can be recharged on 12 or 120v outlets and has a built in tire pressure gauge. You set the target pressure and it shuts off automatically when reached. It only weighs about 2 pounds, is fairly fast, and small enough that everything can be carried behind the back seat of the truck.

The Viair 450P was claimed to be the only 100% duty cycle portable. The hope of dependability got me ... tired, burnt up portables ... take too much time & effort!
