What type screws for attaching solar panel?
I plan on attaching another solar panel in the near future.
Does anyone know what type of screws are used to attache Zamp solar panels to the roof?
Thanks

The ORV factory setup uses #8 x 1" screws.

I'm putting solar panels on my roof tomorrow.
On my trailer, underneath the rubber membrane, the roof sheeting is 3/8" plywood fastened to the wood rafters.
I'm planning to use #8 x 1" flat head wood screws to mount the solar panels. If I'm lucky enough to hit a rafter, I may decide to use a longer screw there.

If your roof is not rubber .. 3m VHB tape . I have 4 panels on my roof with 4 points of attachment with the tape. 80mph for 400 miles .. holding very nice and the best part.. no holes

How did that fix anything?
The real question here should be "do I have to put screws into the plywood sheeting, or can I adhere to the roof membrane".

You cannot adhere to the roof membrane. It is only a thin sheet of rubber and it is not glued onto the plywood beneath it. You must put screws into the plywood sheeting. Make sure you use a generous amount of lap sealant as you work.
