No because the other tire is still on the ground. You only need to jack up the tire about 1-1/2" max. No different than going up a driveway somewhere. If you use the trailer aid you are supporting the whole trailer with just the one tire and axle. It may not be that much of a big deal but after owning a trailer with a bent axle (For what ever reason) I don't want to take any chances.
On the other hand if you have a blowout and one tires shredded then one axle/tire is holding the weight off side till you can get off the road and change it.
