Since my pass thru storage is very valuable and I do not want to use up this space for (nasty stuff), I am thinking the 40 cal ammo can will be a simple idea to store the sewer hose fittings. It will also be near the hose in bumper. They also sell ammo can locks where a pad lock can be used to secure them.

Plus...if I end up not liking it, it is simple to remove and no holes were drilled in bumper for install!

Well I finished making the re-movable end cap and now just need to mount it on the trailer. The sliding rain gutter works just fine.

I found 2 proper sized doors on eBay, may still be some out there(???). I thought aboot using the outside shower doors, but more cutting involved. Taller than framing.

I use the front one to hold electrical stuff, cord, extra plugs, Kill-a-watt, etc. Rear one is for water stuff, hoses, pressure regulator, extra fittings, AND some sewer stuff in a box. My idea was of course to gain extra easily accessible storage space for "setup" items. It's outside stuff for me. We never used the "dead" space behind the drawers until this was done. Too many steps to just get something out of that area for me!!

Each seat area is blocked off into 2 separate sections, so the drawer area is closed off from exterior storage, and nothing gets lost inside!!

Hatches that I used are "thinner" than the wall, but do have foam insulation inside. Hasn't made the under seat area any colder, the slide is cold anyway in low temps!!! Only difficulty (?) was the 120v cable inside the forward hatch area, but it has enough length to be moved away from the loaded stuff!! Cuts were made as close to support wood to be able to screw most of hatch into solid wood for rigidity. Easy-peasy!!

I stow our hoses and fittings in an open plastic container in the cargo hold. Absolutely zero smell. I stuff hose ends with old rags and if you rinse the hoses with gray water then a little clear water, there's no problem. I used to think that I needed a lid on the container till I tried it without and Voila! It was just fine. We tend to over think little minutiae perceived problems when none exsist.
