Where to store sewer hose fittings
I was able to get my hose stored in rear bumper by aligning tabs on end fittings into corners of bumper ends.
However, I have a few extra hose ends (spare angles, adapters, hose wash out fitting, etc) that I do not want to store in my front storage compartment. Where do you store these items on your trailers?
I was thinking about adding a 40mm ammo can to top of rear bumper. I would mount it using 4" square U bolts up through bottom of can with nuts/washers inside bottom of can. I can paint ammo can black to match bumper color.
Thoughts?

That's a great idea, I too ran into this delema last weekend and ended up purchasing a small plastic tote to put the fittings in and am storing that little tote inside 1 of my larger totes in the storage compartment. But i was not real happy with the idea of sewer fittings inside my big tote even though its sealed tight with a lid. I will definitely investigate your idea...thanks.. (dang, i was just up at Cabela's yesteray too)....

I have my extra sewer line pieces in a plastic box with s right fitting lid, and it sits in my forward compartment.
I'd use a plastic ammo can on the bumper. Steel would rust.

My idea is to use 40mm, Military grade, ammo cans. They provide a little more room than the more standard 50mm cans. Several coats of black Rustoleum paint and it would last several years where I live.

I use a plastic storage box we bought at Target and store in all in the side compartment. Hoses too.

We use a plastic tote in pass-thru. Used to carry more stuff on the bumper, but now fit everything in the truck bed or pass-thru. A lot depends on how much enclosed space you have elsewhere.

Plastic fence posts
Bought plastic end caps and a length of plastic fence post from Lowe’s in the USA. The post are large enough inside for the stinky hose and their end caps to fit it. Attached the post to the bumper. Works great for me.

Those look great and very practical! Every bit of space is valuable!
Did you install yourself?
What foam did you use for doors?
Is foam same thickness as walls and other storage doors?
Any issues related to install
Where did you source parts?
Thanks!

I store mine in a plastic cat litter bucket with a lid. Bucket stores in the wet bay.

SoCal, check out my post on 9/29/2016 (#493) in the modifications sticky!! Pertinent info there!!
I found 2 proper sized doors on eBay, may still be some out there(???). I thought aboot using the outside shower doors, but more cutting involved. Taller than framing.
I use the front one to hold electrical stuff, cord, extra plugs, Kill-a-watt, etc. Rear one is for water stuff, hoses, pressure regulator, extra fittings, AND some sewer stuff in a box. My idea was of course to gain extra easily accessible storage space for "setup" items. It's outside stuff for me. We never used the "dead" space behind the drawers until this was done. Too many steps to just get something out of that area for me!!
Each seat area is blocked off into 2 separate sections, so the drawer area is closed off from exterior storage, and nothing gets lost inside!!
Hatches that I used are "thinner" than the wall, but do have foam insulation inside. Hasn't made the under seat area any colder, the slide is cold anyway in low temps!!! Only difficulty (?) was the 120v cable inside the forward hatch area, but it has enough length to be moved away from the loaded stuff!! Cuts were made as close to support wood to be able to screw most of hatch into solid wood for rigidity. Easy-peasy!!

I like the ammo can idea. I currently keep mine in a plastic tote with a lid in the pass through but I just happen to have a large ammo can that I used with my previous pickup. It is collecting dust in my garage and would be perfect.
Tuquala, you have mad skills on that modification. I would be too chicken to cut a hole in the side of the trailer.

Great job....Looks factory!
Couple of questions....
1. The doors you purchased were gray color?
2. What did you use to cut out hole?
3. Did you use masking tape to tape entire area to be cut, draw on tape, and then cut?
Thanks!
