The cost difference between the Magnum and the Outback vs the better spec’s of the Outback are making the Outback look better.
Is there a resource besides this blueprint I found to map out the rest of the components? http://http://www.irv2.com/forums/at...0&d=1484227383

That's a complicated diagram.
Seems to be two separate battery banks (alt/chassis and 12V).
Two transfer switches ? The one in the magnum and another for the Onan generator?
And the Magnum inverter/charger/xfer feeds both 120V panel and separate subpanel?
Can't tell if the inverter will run all the 120VAC circuits or just a few dedicated circuits?
EMS? UVC1? OVC2? BCC(C3) ?
Think a simplified diagram would be more helpful. KISS principle

I’ve been searching. I can’t seem to find a simple diagram any idea where I could find one?

Some manuals have simple installation diagrams.
But every installation is a little different.
So it would prolly be best to work up your own diagram.

That looks better/simpler. It's a start.
Looks like a sticks&bricks installation so some details are off though .
No connections to chassis ground.
No reference to a transfer switch between shorepower and your inverter.
No shorepower battery charger (inverter only, not a combo inverter/charger/transfer switch)
Best if all cables are protected by fuses/breakers as close to the battery/bus as possible.
All the separate switched wires from each battery to a central fuse block in that diagram is strange. Most folks recommend wiring your batteries together into a single bank then running a fused pos and unfused neg wire to their respective buss bars.
You will prolly want a single master battery pos disconnect somewhere for loads only
so when in storage you can still charge via solar but with all loads off. My ORV came with such a switch.
And your solar charger will prolly want switched panels and output as well. I used DC breakers there.

Here's something I found via google. It lacks chassis grounds and the inverter is not a combo with charger and switch but it illustrates the basics.
Also if you have a breaker for your PV array you do not need a switch.
And I don't see any fuses anywhere ...

We've been camping and visiting the kids and grand babies, so it's about time I get energized about getting this solar project on track. I have 480 watts of Zamp fixed panels to be installed and a Zamp 160 Watt portable panel.
Is there any reason the fixed array and the portable* can't be wired into the MPPT Charge controler?
*If the portable is used only to supplement or reach out to the sun while camping in shady sites.
I haven't gotten into what my Zamp ready wiring has in store for me yet.

The portable usually has the controller built in so you just connect it to the batteries. That’s what the side connector does on mine, which is different than the roof connector. It goes to the controller.
Good luck!

That would be the best.
If you try to run radically different solar panels with the same mppt controller, or even two similar strings with one in shade and one in sun, the MPP will optimize to the string with the max Power Point and leave the other string un-optimized. But maybe not a big deal, I dunno.
