1990 Airex
Just registered so new around here.
I am referbing dad's old 1990 Airex, about a 27'.
It is on a Ford F53 chassis. Frame rails are straight, not humped over the wheels. Queen centered in back and galley on the driver's side.
I'm interested in what model I might have.
Coach has 125,000mi +- and shows its age as it was parked south of Tallahassee for years.
Engine (7.5l gas) 75,000 only as the previous owner had it replaced as a lemon just before dad bought it.
Onan genset had a frozen carb that I freed up but not yet running.
New brakes and axel seals.
Tranni (E4OD) rebuilt about 15,000 ago by Ammco after the OD blew up (previously rebuilt 13,000 earlier by an "independent" in Tulsa
). It has been to Alaska and back since, then sat for last seven years.
Registered and about ready to hit the road but, last week it refused to start, suspect ignition as it was running fine a month ago.
Happy to collaborate in any way. I have a chassis and electrical manual. I'm in Northern Virginia, just North of Ft Belvoir.
