Well, you're in the forum specific to Rexhall, so welcome, and feel free to hang around and ask more questions.
There is a wide array of models, from gassers to pushers, some with slides, some without.
My wife got sold on the size/layout of the galley. I liked the stability, quietness, and all metal framing. Fit and finish are good. Not spectacular.
I believe used is the way to go, especially if you can find one well optioned out. Also, look for one that is used regularly. To me, that's a sign of dependability. Also, look for service records, and maintenance manuals. And tires...don't forget to check the age of the tires.
For an older Rexhall gasser, some options to look for are aftermarket exhaust, front and rear track bars, upgraded shocks. That's probably three grand in upgrades, and I've seen several Rexhalls for sale that had them. I didn't know about them when I bought mine, or I might have slowed down a bit and tried to find one with those upgrades on it already.
Good luck in your quest!
