Overdrive

Hello Community!

May be silly question, but need reassurance.
Was driving 12 miles on a washboard road. Thought damaged the engine, and now it's missing overdrive when shifting gears in D mode. Should it be two shifts or more? Unlikely, but want to be on a safe side.

Thanks for advice in advance.

Well you could have a 4r100 trans it has the overdrive cancel switch on the shifter. Shift indicator should read D 3 2 1 if 4r100
