Exclamation Passenger head light is out and BLINKERS dont work when light switch is on.

1996 rexhall rexair p30 chevy

i just put new leds in every socket worked great. never used them, it sat for a month now went to test everything and now this..

Passenger head light is out and BLINKERS dont work when light switch is on.

i have switched back to old bulbs that did work before and still nothing. high beams work though

also finding out low beam wasnt working in only the passanger light

battery is dead on me now

What a mess...

Begin by disconnecting the battery and charging it up... while that is happening chase down and test your fuses with a fuse tester. You Dion't have to be hooked up to a battery for that.

Reconnect the battery and use a multimeter to check current at the headlight socket and move backwards. I don't know how yours is set up, but if the headlights are controlled on the blinker like many cars you'll have to replace it.

Not too bad a job...

I have fixed many such problems by fixing the ground wiring.
Ground problems show up when some lights work but fail if the item what is supplying a path to ground is turned on.

so i have checked ground and replaced next to that head light and dim is still not getting power and flasher still dont work when head lights are on and the left indicator on cluster is illuminated.


after further inspection mechanic before more haphazardly attached wire together and it was broken off, gonna fix and see if thats the deal

fixed my headlight but signal doesn't work still when they are on. def ground or bulb but where damn it!! lol

so after much deliberation. i checked all the grounds and sockets and no problems... fed up i notice a interment in both my sockets for blinkers. on front and left sides. well i pull one off and cut the wires... and check them and everything. get pissed and was like **** it im gonna touch them and pop the fuse and trace it from there. well touching the two wires. fixed it

not sure or why but wtf. it didnt pop my fuse either

FIXED double [Mod Edit] filament bulbs gawd damn it. I was using single LED ones.
