Rexhall Airex Questions

Hi folks,

I'm from Germany and have got a Rexhall Airex from 1990 6.2l v8 Diesel engine.

By now I know the following:

Engine 6.2l V8 Diesel with 110kw
Overall lenght 8,35m also about 27 foot.
Model Year 1990

Such motorhomes are not often here, and I need some advise.

Best starting point seams to be, to identify the Airex in detail, followed by reading owner and maintenance manuals.

Can somone help? Maybe somone has documentation in PDF format?

Many Greetings
Ulrich

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not sure what you mean by "identify in detail".

Are you wanting to know what systems that you have onboard?

In a quick Google search I found numerous articles and videos for your coach.

Hi,

would be good to know what the underlaying chassis is. I have read about E-350 but also about F-53.

By now I have not found a owners or a maintenance manual. Both would be absolutely welcome, to get an overview about the mistery haul.

Also any hint how to get parts like brake pads, disks, .... .

Many Greetings
Ulrich

Here is the website for Rexhall. I would suggest starting with them and having the VIN.

Hi,

In an first step, I have reviewd all of them, before I have started this thread.
There are at least two good videos available, which descripes the basics.

But I would like to review the original owners and repair manual, as starting the first trip withou knowing the important mechanical and elektrical, ... things makes me a bad feeling. It is not an usual RV here, so in case of simple issues we would maybe get no help from an truck repair shop.
So tools and spare parts needs to be ordered and should be onboard.

Many Greetings
Ulrich

Are you most interested in the truck engine side of things or the coach side of things?

Post I have a 1990/91 Rexhall Airex motorhome that we just purchased and need manuals

Anyone have manuals - either digital or print - that I can purchase copies for? Our motorhome did not come with any manuals and I do not know anything much about the RV systems or the motor/chassis. I have copied the mfgr/model info from the fridge, stove, inverter/charger, whatever I could find a label for, which I hope to find PDFs for online, but the mfgr manuals would make things so much better should something go wrong while on the road. Many thanks!

I had a 1992. 32' with tag. It was on a Ford F53 chassis with a 460.
I had no manuals to speak of but did have Rexhall send me some wiring prints.
My Son still has the MH, has not run in a few years. It needs transmission work and is not a high priority for him.
I did not know they had a diesel.
