Rexhall? Engine heat
Can someone let me know what this switch might be for or do? It is in the bedroom and the diesel engine is under the bed.
I have a Rexhall 2000 diesel.
Thanks

I am only guessing, but it might be for a Heater that works of off the engine hot water, heating the bedroom while you drive. on cold days. like your cab heater in the front.
Just a guess.

Should be the switch for the engine block heater.
In the engine compartment there is an electrical outlet that should be turned on/off with the switch The engine block heater plugs in there.

It was the engine block heater on our Rexhall. You may be able to call Rexhall and get an answer from them. We tried calling them and were told their electrical engineer was parking coaches outside. So we purchased Thor mh to replace it.

I also have a similar switch that electrifies the outlet under the bed in the engine compartment. I leave my block heater unplugged so that the switch is not inadvertanly turned on when not needed (summer days!!)
