Road Trip January 2017
We are planning a trip for the month of January 2017. The plan is to head south to Quartzsite for a couple of days then travel the I-40 and Route 66 through Arizona and New Mexico with the possibility of getting as far east as Amarillo Tx. If anyone in the group would like to tag along and have a bit fun just let me know.

Keep a close watch of weather, snow often closes I40 in AZ into TX.
This website seems to best on the internet for travelers road information.

We may go to Quartzsite for the January show. Keep us posted if you do go and where you think you might stay.

We are looking to do a similar trip, but have to wait until January 2018 when we retire.

For July 2017, our big trip will be from Lexington KY through Michigan to Montreal for the Alfa Romeo Owners Club national convention. Then a leisurely route back through the NY Finger Lakes area and planning to stay at some of the Harvest Host sites.
2018 plans are to the Alfa convention in Olympia, Washington.

We did spend one night in Quartzsite January 11th before the RV show to look at the gem stones. We have now made our way to Abiliene, Texas where we are spending the night before driving to Lubbock. We have been on the road 12 days now and are enjoying every minute of it, love this country, so much to see.
