Slide out release lever

I posted not long ago about a slide out problem. On my i998 Rose Air (3250 on a 1999 ford chassis) my slide out creeps 2 to 3 inchs when it's sitting for a while. I've had it looked at and was told to run it all the way in. I've done that to the point of bogging down the motor. It still creeps. In talking to another rv'er not a rexhall owner . He said he had the same problem, turned out to be the brake release lever was off. I have all the original paper work & manuals, and not one single word about a brake release lever. Can someone tell me what, and where this lever is!!. The other gentleman said his was in the storage, under his slide out. Thanks for the help that's coming.

Typically the brake lever is on the back of the electric slide motor.
Sometimes covered by a rubber boot
