Open the cover panel outside where the components are.

Should be a Suburban Water Heater (exhaust directly above combustion chamber on right side)

If electric and propane there will be an ON/OFF switch in lower left corner...that is for the electric element
Element is under the cover below/behind gs valve-burner tube

Backside of water heater inside the RV would be DIRECTLY Opposite where outside cover panel is...might have to remove drawers/open a cabinet etc and remove floor panel IF it sits below floor line

After you find the water heater you should be able to remove the panel on the left side of it into the smaller compartment... This will give you enough access to everything to do whatever you need to do... Heater is on the passenger side rear of the LP tank on mine..

Good Luck
