To archive a trip, first open it in the standard fashion by clicking the Open Trips button and choosing the trip you wish to open. Once the trip is loaded and opened in Trip Wizard, click the wrench icon in the Trip Menu on the left, then choose Archive Trip from the list. You’ll see a message box confirming you wish to archive the trip. Click the Archive button. This trip will now be listed under the Archived Trips tab and will no longer be listed in the Current Trips list. To open an archived trip, simply click the Open Trips button, then choose the Archived Trips tab and open the trip from there.

Click the wrench and archive is near the bottom. I found it easy to use.

Can a user archive a trip locally, on a thumb drive, or other storage device, or must it be archived online?

You could create a spreadsheet from the trip and save that locally.

The trips are saved and archived online only.
