Highway Preference

Ok you road warrior veterans - looking to plan a future trip from Orlando to Dandridge TN - route guidance suggests I-95 to I-26 to I-40. Friends tell me 40 and 26 can get a little tricky. Any suggested alternate routes?

Not sure where Dandridge is but you could zig over to I-75 via I-10 in north Fl and follow that up into TN. We've taken it all the way to Canada before and from Chattanooga south this summer.

Cool

From Orlando, I'd take the Turnpike to I-75 all the way to Knoxville, TN, then I-40 to Dandridge...easy drive.

I-26 and I-40 are both interstates, so I can't imagine it would be to tricky to navigate. Maybe you don't want to do any mountain driving...

RV Trip Wizard would probably route you the way I suggested...give it a try

I've done I-95 to I-26 to I-81 several times and it's an easy drive. Not sure about I-40, but being an Interstate, I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe the concern was over construction on I-40.
