iPad & RVTW

On iPad I can't find way to get the RVTW to let me move the distance rings to start location of trip. Now it is stuck on last stop and I want to move the rings to the first of trip.

To do this on my laptop I just click at the top of the list of stops and that re sets the rings.

I use a PC and we need to click on the purple symbol on the map for a stop and then click on the ring symbol(upper right).

I didnt realize the way rings worked on tehe Ipad and Mac were so totally different.

On my iPad I touch the map icon representing a stop and then touch the small rings in the upper right corner of the information box that pops up next to the icon; that moves the rings to that stop. It works no matter what stop I touch, including the starting point.

That is essentially what I do on my PC. Apparently he found a different way that sometimes works.

Unless you have a touchpad laptop they are totally different. I don't know anything about Macs. Can you expand and contract the screen by spreading your fingers on a Mac?

I consider a cursor ona PC the equivalent to a touch on an Ipad.

Not me. You can't stretch and shrink the image or map with a cursor like you can with your fingers on a tablet or phone. Not the same at all.

And, RVTW does not display the same way on a laptop and a iPad.

I did what Victory Blue suggested and it worked. Thanks

Sure you can. You just use the mouse pad area and put your finger there or CTRL +/-

Great. You must have one of the Touch Screen Mac's that operate like an app on a tablet or phone. They cost some serious bucks.

No, this is just a normal PC laptop. They have always worked like this.

I don't like touch screens, toomany finger marks and too sensitive.
