Kilometres vs Miles

Tried to revive an old thread so no go.

Tried to use KM for a trip in Canada in Trip Wizard and got miles. Used Google maps it provided KM. Why not do KM when in Canada?

My wife hates miles, they seem so much longer!
Can't you just change from miles to kilometres in the settings?

I even changed my profile to be Canadian ... no way to select km on any of the trip settings. I guess, RVTW is somewhat biased. It would be a nice feature. I don't think it would be a complicated programming fix (it is a simple calculation) ... although it might require placing a conversion calculation in a whole lot of places throughout the code.

Here is the feedback I got from RVTW regarding KM v/s Miles:
hanks for the suggestion.
This is definitely on our wish list and is rapidly moving toward the top as we bring on more Canadian customers.
We will make this happen as soon as we can.

So, 6 years later and we still can't use kilometres? Very disappointing. What is the plan to fix this? Thanks.

Any idea when metric (kilometres, litres, etc.) will be added?

Canada's measurements for road sign distances, fuel prices at gas stations, etc. are ALL in metric and have been for a long time. Planning a trip in Canada and having to convert along the way is problematic at best.
