Cool POI - what i think off as POI?

I am trying to use the POI feature
what I thought the POI feature would do is:
show me POI inside a selected radius from my current stop
I would be able to filter the results

i.e. staying at Wahweap
POI would show Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Stud Horse Point, Toadstools to name just a few that I have researched
instead I get a list of pre-canned POI that I am mostly not interested in
is it just me?

I have not used the POI feature but in looking at the feature I don't think it is meant to find things to do(hikes, caves etc), more to find supermarkets, museums. This follows along as to the other POIs of Elks, FlyingJ, Walmart.

If you are looking for things to do and see try roadtrippers.com, this site has more of what I perceive you are looking for.
