Scenic Routes in RV Trip planner?

Coming back to Houston from Nashville. How do I get trip planner to go down the Natchez Trace Parkway? There are lots of other scenic routes in the US how do I get trip planner to follow them?

Drag the route to the way you want to go.

tried that - didn't work route jumps all over the area and roads but won't follow the park way. surely there is an easier way to do it. I suspect that many RV travelers would like to take the scenic routes

When I put in nashville to jackson it routes me on I40 and I55. If I drag the route to the natchez trace parkway it follows it for a short distance then jumps back to I40 or I55. If I keep dragging with more waypoints finally I run out of waypoints as 15 is max. I'm using "standard routing", Windows 7 Home premium version on desk top PC

I have just tried to check default setting and trip settings. I no longer get any screen showing the options for these setting values. Worked yesterday what's up?

Ah Ha! the key looks to be in setting the trip to avoid highways. Once I did that I could put it on the Natchez Parkway. Thanks for your help! Is it possible to set the trip settings differently for segments of the trip or do I need to break the trip into shorter trip segments as individual trips?

You cannot do it by segments within a trip. The latest upgrade does allow you to have different setting for each trip which is very useful.

You will need to break up the trip into different segments. IMO a trip is easier to manage in segments.
