Send to GPS function - won't update my changes

I was originally happy with the ability to send my trip to my Google Maps in my phone, but I made a campground change for my trip. I deleted the .gpx file and created a new one and uploaded it, but the new file is exactly the same as the old one! I deleted it again and exited the program. Signed back on and tried it again with the same result! I cannot get it to update my trip with the campground that I want!

UPDATE***** My bad! I forgot to go in and add the trip into Google/MyMaps as a Create a New Map. I was thinking that all I had to do was download the new file. DUH! I did have a heck of a time deleting the old trip out of Google Maps but I finally did it. I honestly can't remember exactly how I did it or I would certainly share that info.

To delete the map in Google Maps, looks like you would have clicked the vertical dots to the right of the map you created and chosen Move To Trash. If you didn't give it a name, it would be called "Untitled map". Glad you figured it out. The export / import to Google Maps works quite well.
