Testing the app
I would like to test RV Trip Wizard before spending money on it - is there any way to do that? It looks like the demo on the web site just displays a preset trip. In order to make an informed desicion I want to put the app through its paces, comparing it with other programs, without having to spend money.

I think you just need to create a new trip in the Demo. From my recollection, the demo is full functioning, except you can't save a trip...

I just used the demo and it doesn't allow a new trip or changes to the existing trip. I agree with Alan that a functional demo would be good as well as a good sales tool.

The demo is a pre-planned trip but you can use that demo to add more stops at the end of the trip or edit existing stops. While you cannot change the starting point you can remove stops and alter the route.
To begin to edit the demo, dismiss the "tour" info boxes and then click on a stop over on the left side. You can remove stops or edit them and if you click on the last stop in the list you can then add more stops to the end of the trip.

Okay - I tried that. I was able to delete the demo route and add in my own start and stop points, but it won't let me change any of the trip preferences so I can't see how it displays, or handles, overnight stops, fuel stops, etc. It would be nice to be able to put the tool through its paces to see if it's worth spending the money vs. just continuing to use the tried and true Streets & Trips...

There is a 30 day full refund policy if you find it's not the right tool...

I'd rather see a 30 day free trial period - it would attract more potential users, and be cheaper, rather than having to process refunds. A free trial could be set up with restrictions such as no saving the trip, or other restrictions.
