I have been full time now for several years and have volunteered at State and National Parks but have never volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Are full hook up sites generally available at most locations?

TXTiger,

I've had full hook ups at times but usually only water and electric. It depends on the location. The RV-Care-A-Vanners site will list the hook ups for each build. Power can vary from 30 to 50 amp depending on location.

I built at 4 locations in 2018. Two had full hook ups and two didn't. One of those that did not have full hook ups also had a temporary utility problem and the closest water supply was about 300 feet away. We connected all of our hoses together to get water as needed.

Hi TXTiger,

As phays said, some have full hookups, some do not. The amenities are listed for each project. Take time to look at the upcoming list of projects shown at the link below. Click on the city (hypertext link) and the next screen will show you whether it includes sewer hookup as well as the power available, cost, etc. We look forward to seeing you on one of the projects in the near future.

The web site has been updated recently so it can be sorted by date - that's how the list is typically displayed - but you can easily sort on City, State and Spaces Available with a simple button click on the various headers.
