Width of Arctic Fox 22H
The earlier AF22H has an 8' wide body. The later AF22H has an 8'-6" wide body. Can anyone tell me what year the change was made? I would like to find a used AF22H with the 8' wide body. Don't want the wide body.

Appears 2013 was last year of the 8' width
Also appears it was last year of the 22H travel trailer model
2014 8'6" and 22G is model

Many years ago I had the 22H. We really liked it however it had a crawl-over bed so we got rid of it and got a bigger trailer.
I'm curious why you don't want one 6" wider.

Then 2010 8'-6" with a weight of 5050. Then 2011 back to 8' but still 5050 for weight. Then 2012 & 13 8' but back down to 4880 weight. It's hard to believe once they started mfg. the 8'-6" that they would go back down to 8'.
Hopefully someone reading this post who own a 2010, 2011, 2012, or 2013 AF22H will take a actual measurement of theirs and post the results.

My DW recently passed away. I'm going to downsize from my Dutch Star DP after next summer travel season. With only me and two small dogs I want a small TT with no slides. I want to keep it down to 8' because I want to get into places I couldn't with the DP. Plus less wind resistance when towing and even though I have trailering mirrors which see well around 8' get not so good with 8'-6". Rear vision is very important to me.
The 22H floorplan fits me perfectly even at only 8'. The bed isn't an issue since I'm alone. I can see where it would be with two sleeping in it.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss and I think you have made a wise decision.
Sometimes a change of surroundings helps and your choice of the 22H is good as it is a well built trailer.
Good luck in your new RV when you get it!!

You can go to Northwoods site and ask the question. I've done it a few times and got instant responses.

Found my answer. 2009 was the last year it was produced in the 8' model. Found the answer here: https://www.nroa2003.com/download/?d...od%20Brochures

Sorry about your loss - understand the desire to downsize.
2010 sounds about right as that was also the year they started re-vamping the Nash line. The AF retained the 22G and made it 8'6" wide so they could use the fiberglass caps as the other Foxes. The newer Fox also has alum framing.
The 22H was retained in the Nash lineup and is 8' wide - it is also built like the old AF models with wood framing.
I had a 22H from 05 to 17 - loved it - except for the crosswise bed.
New TT is an Outdoors RV that is way bigger than the 22H but great for the two of us and two big dogs.

Thanks for the condolences.
The bed is the only drawback too the 22H. But for only one person it isn't probably so bad. They made a 25S in the Nash line up until 2011. It's basically the same floorplan as the 22H except the bed is queen walk-around facing front too rear. That would be great except it adds 3' to the trailer overall length. I like the idea of the shorter trailer.

Take a look at ORV 20FQ. Lives much bigger than its size, but was too small for two of us to winter in.

I checked it out, but wanted to stay away from the 8'-6" wide body.
Ended up buying a 2008 Nash 25S (same floorplan as a 22H except for the queen bed turned front to back) in Montana. Now all I have to do is go get it. Leaving Michigan 1st of April for Arizona. Will work my way up to Montana from there and pick it up early May.
Thanks for all the advice from everyone who replied.
