jerztime-
I read the same reviews. We chose to stay at the Sussex (NB) KOA and took our toad over that road. We were on our way to Prince Edward Island, so for us it was just a day-trip to see the Bay of Fundy. We were able to do the loop (Sussex-Alma-Hopewell-Moncton-Sussex) in a day.
Our coach is 31 feet long. Having done the loop, I would say I could make it with our coach and toad. We saw a few outbound Class As on our way to Alma in the morning.
I guess it depends on how long you plan to stay in that area. If you're staying several days, then the slow drive is worthwhile. If you're passing through, then I'd advise taking the toad.
One thing I consider when planning these single-lane-road trips is whether I (as the driver) will "miss" the experience because I'm concentrating on avoiding hazards and not frustrating the vehicles behind me as I plod along.
