Sussex, NB overnight

Anyone have a suggestion on where we can overnight in the Sussex area. We will be driving from Halifax to Bar Harbor.
Truck stops, Walmart’s, etc are ok.
Thanks

Steve-

We have stayed at the Sussex KOA when in that area. The park is just a few minutes off the highway.

We also stayed at the KOA. There is an Irving Oil truck stop for fueling and some large lots in that area that had truck parking, but I don’t know if overnight parking is allowed. You can see these in Google maps and street view. They also have a Walmart but I don’t know if they allow RV parking.

If you drive through town you’ll notice the murals. https://sussexmurals.com/

Thanks, we are staying at the KOA 2 weeks before but they are full on our return trip so just looking for a place to break up the drive from Halifax to Bar Harbor.

Steve-

On the trip from north to south we stay at the Kiwanis "Oceanfront" campground in Saint Andrews (link here). If memory serves, it's about an hour to the U.S. border from there.

We give away tomatoes or potatoes while in Saint Andrews, as you're not allowed to bring them into the U.S..

Our GPS did not give the best route into the campground. The second time in we went a better way.

What happened to the ferry from Yarmouth NS to Bar Harbor? That would have made the trip easier.
