Part 16

Part 16

This part will be the last of the year. Although we have had a mild late fall so far, winter is due any time in SE Michigan. We have a near 50 degree day this weekend, but I'm guessing things are going to get nasty very soon, so it's a good time for a break. I'll be back to finish up this project probably in late March or early April. I'm probably 80% finished and I'm hoping to be on the road by Summer. Thanks to those who have been watching and I'll see you here in the Spring.

Good series of tubes. I personally prefer West System Epoxy to System 3, and have used very lightweight phenolic honeycomb sandwiched between marine ply for very light and stiff structures. Nowadays I prefer to buy used and fix up, and start from scratch. But this is quite a well executed project. look forward to the completed piece of work. Nice truck also.

This video contains a quick look at the first trip taken in the camper. A three week holiday in Colorado. A spectacular state, made even greater by the new law. A perfect testing ground for the experimental camper.
We found several things we need to do to the camper to make it better.
