Where's all the "legal" BS coming from all the time. THE GVWR IS NOT A LEGAL LIMIT!
If your F250 has tires, wheels, and axles up to the task of carrying 14,000 pounds and your vehicle is REGISTERED for 14,000 pounds then it is all completely perfectly legal.

OP, I suspect since you've addressed the tires on your truck the main thing you will need is some type of rear suspension enhancement to reduce squat. I would use airbags. I carried a 4,000 pound camper on my '07 Chevy 3500 SRW. I was about 11,100 pounds on a truck with a GVWR of 9,900. It handled pretty well over thousands of miles. I only added Bilstein shocks and air bags, everything else including the tires was stock.

Anything over 12,000 in my state is considered commercial, so there is no way for me to register at 14,000. Anything over 10,001 is considerably more money to register.

So, 10,000 is what it's registered at.

I can't legally go over that weight.
