When I bought the custom built F450 ended up there was no place to install a spare tire .
The rear is taken up with the fuel tank.I carry a bigfoot 3000 so there is no box area also.
I feel my only option would be to mount it on the front but I would like it removeable.Has anyone seen something or had a situation like this .With an alaskan trip planned I need a spare.

That would be my suggestion, reciever on front and build a carrier to fit it. Use a locking hitch pin and lock lug nut. Then make sure you keep the lug "key" with you!

This system is very versitile for many things. I have a few different carriers for coolers etc. that I can hitch on the front. Also,is a great way to manuever a trailer into a tight spot.

I mounted mine on some square tubing that I mounted to the hitch.

Now that is a good question!
I just realized that I would have to take the camper off the truck to get the spare out from under the truck!
