Attwood Jack switch
When I am raising or lowering my jacks they will become intermittent in operation. Sometimes they work for a few seconds then stop for a few seconds. Other times they just quit working. I found when that happens it makes no difference if I flip the switch but if I take the switch out of the wall and unplug momentarily and then plug it back in they work. It makes me nervous loading and unloading since cranking by hand when it is fully extended in not for the weak at heart.
I contacted Lance and they informed me "unfortunately that part is no longer available. They gave me a part no. of# 85440 and said I may find one on Ebay or Amazon. I did not.
The switch is comprised of a momentary switch, an led light, a telephone plug and a small circuit board.
My question is; What does the switch actually do? What is the little circuit board (does it merely run the led)?
Does anyone know of a solution to my problem and do you think it is the switch?
