Build from scratch?

Hello!

Our pickup camper is on it's last legs. We would like to dismantle it and build another from scratch, using some salvaged parts from the old one. My concern is the weight supporting joint of the over-the-cab section. How does one make it stable, and capable of supporting two full grown adults?

The key to any cabover bunk is proper support including the base of the extension at and into the camper sidewall.

This thread follows a members build:
2014 Truck Camper Building From Scratch

Not done yet, but very complete coverage of whats been done so far.

Best luck.
