A buddy of mine has a 10.6 2500 series Bigfoot, that is a couple years old. It would be under warranty, except the brand folded and is apparently now operated by a different company.

It has a pretty major sag around the AC. Has anyone had this problem, and is there a good solution other than having the entire upper half replaced?

Apparently it was starting to do this when it was new, as he had noted the closet door hit the AC, but he didn't notice the sag at the time and just lowered the closet door on the hinges until it had good clearance.

Now the closet door hits the AC again, and the sag in the roof is quite noticeable. It feels solid when you push up on that area of the ceiling.

Ideas?

I had a similar problem once with an Northern Lite I owned about 5 years ago.
You can fix this by cutting the fabric and spraying a good glue behind it.
I think they all sag when they get older. Ours was appr. 10 years old when it happened. I understand this one is new? The factory recently went back into production I think. They are in Armstrong British Columbia. There is a Big Foot dealer in Vernon BC, Mike's RV (????).
Not that far away from you guys.

Thanks for the reply. It isn't the fabric that is sagging, it is the entire roof.

Bigfoot is now in production, and their solution would be to replace the upper half of the camper, but that is really expensive.
