the jury is still out.
while shopping for starbrite cleaner i bumped into a co-worker that has a fiberglass boat moored nearby in saltwater.
asked him how he cleans the hull.
he has a blue gel product but cannot remember the name. he is going to bring some in for me.
just rub on and let sit for 2 minutes then rinse off.
will keep you posted on the results.

the product is called:
Davis SSR Fiberglass Stain Remover
retails for $12.72 USD.
have not found it on the shelves north of the 49th yet.

Straight google search yields some logical sites in the U.S., but search for pages in Canada yields confusion.

I've had good luck with a product called "3M super duty rubbing compound" got it at an automotive paint store. It's worked whenever the standard products were'nt up to the task. I'm am currently using it to take waterspots off the glass on a trailer I bought used. Nothing else has worked. Might be worth a try?
