Thanks to all the people out here who helped along the way to make decisions on a truck camper package! The truck was a harder pick for me because I liked the ford but I have never owned one. After much time and studying I chose the ford. The camper choice was easier which I made today it is ordered and I should see it in 4 to 6 weeks! I am sure the folks and fellow truck campers who have helped with my rookie questions .My choice is a Ford 350 1 ton single wheel longbed and the camper is a 9.5 North Star Igloo U and doesn't have a slide! My wife and I thought it had a lot of good features such as windos and shades and the cabinets where great with nice hardware. I feel good about the decision and hope to get great use out of this package and see many miles down the highway!!

Congratulations on the North Star Igloo. North Star has a good Reputation.
Have fun camping, depending on where you live the fall can be nice time to camp.
Hope to see some photo's when you have a chance can get them.

Looks like a raelly nice camper:

Northstar Campers :: Online Catalog

Good choice on an SRW for that camper. The pics of it reveal that the side walls have skirts that hang lower than the truck bed, so it barely fits the dually pictured
