Got love that first picture. A short bed F-150 with a camper that weighs over 3000 lbs DRY! Fail. Those truck campers are too heavy for an F-150.

In a perfect world

First, eliminate 4WD, that kills payload. Then, eliminate a Super crew, another payload killer. Now pick the lightest TC and maybe you are OK for short hauls.

Totally agree - although Ford now is truly the payload king compared to Chevy and Dodge.

fun fact...a 2015 f150 crew cab 4wd ecoboost is listed as having a lighter curb weight then a 2015 chevy 1500 regular cab 2wd 5.3.
