I have the standard ford power mirrors on my truck and have CIPA slide on mirrors that go over the standard ones. They vibrate like crazy are are useless while driving. I am thinking to get the ford trailer tow mirrors. Do people who have them think they extend far enough for your camper?

I should have added that I found new ones online for $120 each for power trailer tow mirrors.

If these are the stock extendabe mirrors for the SD they don't go out enough for my liking. They just barely let me see around my camper. My Jeep trailer is the same width as my dually and I can not see the trailer at all.

I agree with the above post. I have the older style TT mirrors(non-adjustable) and they barely clear the camper, but I suppose they are better than the regular mirrors.

When towing either my jeep trailer or boat behind the camper, I can see the trailer fenders once in a while, but other than that I'm blind back there.

I had the TT mirrors on my last truck and found them to work very well. Scotty.

My truck used to tow a 35 ft. 5th wheel. The mirrors worked great! And they work fine with the Lance. I did add a set of mirrors made by a company called C-Betr. They are great and work on the bars of the mirrors.

I love the TT mirrors on my truck. I can see around my lance just fine.
