I would be so grateful to anybody who has rebuilt Rieco jacks who can offer help. I'm pretty handy but these things are very old and I don't want to damage something trying to get it apart (which is NOT currently happening... hence the email.) There's precious little to clamp in a vice that doesn't seem like it could be damaged.

Even an exploded view would help. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can offer.

I'm hoping I can avoid the preposterous $44 kit which rebuilds two jacks as the jacks only cost $100 and 25% seems a bit much to pay for, as the guy at the parts counter admitted was "a bunch of O-rings."

you can address personal replies to
AlTerego@psyber.com

many thanks

Back from the Holidaze... Thanks for the link - found a nice parts list. The Rieco jacks are hydraulic, manual but I don't know if they're heavy duty or regular.
