Just curious did you order your slide with evertything you wanted or did you add on after? About the only thing I didn't get was Sat TV and solar panels. Figured pay a little more but have all factory installed and done correctly. What did you all do?

We ordered ours with a side awning. But in 9 years we have only used it once. It's just too small and in the wrong place.

The two options I'm glad we got were the gas/electric water heater and the electric heat in the a/c unit. Both save us a lot of propane when we are at an electric site.

Good Luck,
BradW

I agree with Brad. We have the 110/LPG water heater and when plugged into shore power it works great to keep the water hot. Don't have or require airconditioning s fantastic fan seems to work well........Steve...

We traded for our unit. It was a retired Lance dealers unit. It has everything on it! I told him to keep the gen set. I have a Honda and wanted the extra storage space. This thing is great.

I have two awnings and use them almost every trip. We park the motorcycles under the side and the rear is great at keeping the sun, rain out. Scotty.

We don't have Solar or Satellite...
But, I do pack around an EU-2000 genset.
And we've got a TV/DVD LCD for those occasional rainy days.
Best Option I got was the full-width rear awning.

Commmmmon Spring!!

Options....

I wouldn't be without a built in generator. I love pulling over at a viewpoint firing up the gen. for lunch (micro)and A/C. Just like a restaurant. Minutes later, we're on our way. Just like a motor home!

DSI/Elec. water heater a MUST.

I WISH I had opted for the solar...

Anyway, just some input.

Tom

TJ I regret now not getting the solar. but at the time i figured with the gen set I wouldnt need it. I am waiting for the price to come down and I will probly add on later. The camper is set up for it all ready. Scotty.

FxrScotty-

That's what I'm hoping for too. I find that the winter nites can really suck down the two Trojan 6V's I added. So much for that being the end-all-beat-all answer to battery power. For that alone, I wish I had added the Solar option. Besides, the generator can be such a devisive thing at a campground. I care. So, I use it sparingly. I honestly use it more on the road than at campgrounds.

TJ we use our gen. mostly to make coffee in the morning and to recharge the batts. The solar would be great for that! Save alot of gas for hot H2O and cooking.

Fxr-

If my wife heard you mention the coffee part, she would laugh! We do the same thing!

Honestly, how long do you run the generator for battery recharging? And don't you wish we could come up with some automatic timer for that? I'm sure that I could figure that out.....huumm, maybe another mod!!
