I agree GMAN i have traded trucks 4 times now and i thought i finally got what i needed, then went and traided my TT for a heavy TC, well needless to say i'm not trading again so i'm doing a dually conversion on my truck just for the extra width and tire weight rating.

if you think you mite be hauling a TC and havent already bought your truck a say get a dually for shure.

We have owned campers since the late 1970's.
Just a couple of weeks ago we decided to buy a new Northern Lite, this is our 2nd Northern Lite. It's the Special Edition we bought.

Our previous camper was a Lance 992 with two slide outs. We were very happy with it, liked all the space, but after spending over two months in it last summer my wife started to complain about storage space. We had boxes with stuff stored in the back of the truck cab. The decision was made to go back to a Northern Lite. Sure, less space, because we don't have slide outs, but we DO have lots of storage space again. The Lance 992 was very heavy but that was not really a big problem because we own a Dodge 1 ton dually diesel.

In short: Loved the Lance, great quality camper, bought it brand new, never had problems.

Also love the Northern Lite, way lighter of course, more storage spage, great quality as well.
